Our Vision   To keep alive and bring to life, for young and old, and to preserve for generations to come, the History and Heritage of our Region [the township of HOPE and the town of Port Hope, Ontario] through meetings, lectures, displays, presentations and other functions and to involve other Heritage Groups as well as elementary, high school and university students in these activities. 

To maintain and operate Dorothy's House Museum as a display case of a workman's family and life-style in the mid 19th century.

Make History Come Alive

Monthly Meetings are held at the Ganaraska Conservation Authority Building [**GRCA**] - Hwy 28 north of Port Hope across from the Comfort Inn (Easton's 28 Service Centre) on the 3rd Wednesday of Oct., Nov., Jan., Mar., Apr. and May from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, unless otherwise arranged.
